The Airmar 200WX weather station is the best choice for mobile, land and marine weather monitoring applications . Packed with sensors, in a small, durable and robust IPX6-rated housing, the 200WX station can be used on mobile platforms such as boats, but also on land vehicles such as newsreels and military vehicles.

Knowing theoretical wind speed and direction is important and often essential. The 200WX calculates theoretical wind speed and direction based on apparent wind, vessel speed and boat heading . Its internal 10 Hz GPS and three-axis electronic compass provide the heading, position, ground speed and ground heading functionalities required for theoretical wind data processing on a moving vehicle. The 3D compass with dynamic stabilization provided by the three-axis gyroscope enhances rate-of-turn data.
