The Lewmar Ocean 44 self-tailing winch electrification kit converts a standard Ocean 44 self-tailing winch into an electric winch.

It offers two speeds for manual control, plus one speed in electric mode. Manual control remains a possible recourse for rescue purposes, or to rediscover traditional sailing sensations.

Lewmar - Electrification kit for Ocean - 44 ST winch

Suitable for deck and mast winch models Lewmar Ocean 44ST (produced between 1992 and 2010).

The E-series relay is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker to monitor motor temperature, ensuring that the motor is switched off when there is a risk of overheating out of tolerance.

Once the kit has been installed, the Lewmar 44 Ocean winch also functions as a manual self-tailing winch.
