LEWMAR - DOUBLE RELAY 12V

The relay is made up of remote switches, which are electromagnetic switches enclosed in a special casing that protects it from marine corrosion.

The relay receives the signal from the windlass controls, which can be buttons, switches or remote controls, and switches the current from the battery to the windlass motor, reversing the direction of rotation as the anchor rises or falls. The relay thus enables the windlass to be controlled without the risk of overheating or short-circuiting the low-current controls.
