The single electric gearmotor * is designed to fit all V9 windlass deck units . It consists of an electric motor and a gearbox , and is positioned below deck in the anchor locker(see photo).
It allows you to raise or lower your anchor while offering comfort , safety and efficiency during mooring operations on your boat. This gearmotor operates on alternating current , unlike others which run on direct current .
