LEWMAR - V2 24V GEARMOTOR
The IP68 gearmotor is designed for use inmarine conditions . The IP rating (Index of Protection ) is an international standard which means that it is totally dustproof with the number "6" and waterproof with the number "8" , and will not require maintenance either due to its resistance to these elements.
It also features a solid composite housing and a waterproof grommet included in the pack.
The pack also includes a 12V relay to transmit the power required to raise or lower the anchor. The box receives the signal from the windlass controls , which can be buttons , switches or even remote controls . This enables the motor to be operated without the risk of overheating or short-circuiting the mechanism.
The relay consists of remote switches , which are electromagnetic switches enclosed in a special, abrasion-resistant casing .
The gearmotor is available in two different versions:
- 68001053 : geared motor for V2 24V windlass
- 68001054 : geared motor for windlass V3 24V
