HOW DO FLAPS WORK?Firstly, to use a Flaps kit, you'll need a waterproof Flaps control panel switch (sold separately). The articulated actuator (sold separately) allows you to lower the stabilizer plate (stainless steel shovel) by pressing the control button on the switch. The Flaps can be tilted separately to correct heeling in swell conditions, for example, and at the same time to correct trim when sailing and prevent the boat's nose from rising or consuming more fuel than necessary. Flaps provide a perfect power/consumption/boat speed ratio. Want to know more about Flaps? |
