    Description

    Isotherm's 2 L eutectic plate evaporator for chillers operates on the cold accumulator principle, using a eutectic solution to absorb and store refrigeration energy.

    When the refrigeration system is activated, the eutectic solution in the plate cools and freezes. As it freezes, the solution stores a large amount of energy in the form of latent heat of fusion. It thus maintains a stable, low temperature inside the refrigerated compartment.

    Eutectic plates offer the advantage of maintaining a stable temperature in the refrigerator or freezer, ideal for navigation where energy fluctuates. They also save energy, as the compressor doesn't have to run constantly to keep cool. Their silent operation is also a plus on boats, preserving peace and quiet on board.
