    Description

    Isotherm's 2 L eutectic plate evaporator for chillers operates on the cold accumulator principle, using a eutectic solution to absorb and store refrigeration energy .

    When the refrigeration system is activated, the eutectic solution in the plate cools and freezes . As it freezes, the solution stores a large amount of energy in the form of latent heat of fusion. It thus maintains a stable, low temperature inside the refrigerated compartment.

    Eutectic plates offer the advantage of maintaining a stable temperature in the refrigerator or freezer, ideal for navigation where energy fluctuates. They also save energy , as the compressor doesn't have to run constantly to keep cool. Their silent operation is also a plus on boats, preserving peace and quiet on board.
