Overvoltage and undervoltage protection protects the connection batteries and thus protects the service batteries from overvoltage caused by a faulty alternator.

To protect your sensitive on-board electronic equipment from voltage drops or interference, the relay can also be used to isolate service batteries during start-up periods.

Irrespective of the operating mode - internal consumption is extremely low (40 mA).

Warning:

This charging relay is designed for use on a wired circuit with lead-acid-type batteries (including AGM and gel).

It monitors voltage levels corresponding to lead-acid-battery types, and switches on or off when certain levels are reached.

We strongly advise against using this relay in conjunction with LiFe(Y)PO4 batteries, as the nominal voltages or higher operating voltage ranges of these battery types are not compatible with the levels of-lead-acid batteries.
