The Odeo Flare MK4 distress lamp from Plastimo is a powerful distress signal light with red diode and infrared , allowing you to be easily located when you need help. Small, IP68 waterproof and seawater resistant, this luminous device will be visible for up to 6 nautical miles !
Designed in accordance with SOLAS recommendations, the Odeo Flare MK4 distress light is an additional light signal, but does not replace the regulation (on boats) of pyrotechnic red hand lights. It's the perfect addition to your survival equipment.

Ideal for your personal safetyThe ODEO FLARE MK4 LED distress flashlight Plastimo is easy to activate: just turn the top part to activate it. It has a hemispheric signal range of 3 nautical miles minimum and 6 nautical miles maximum in optimum visibility conditions. Its vertical range extends the signal's range. The SOS signal is integrated during flashing, making it an internationally recognized distress signal. The light is emitted by powerful red LED s. For night-time detection, this distress lamp is fitted with an infrared device for thermal detection . It also incorporates mirrors to enhance the signal's range This distress signal light works with all battery models on the market, even rechargeable ones. However, its performance differs according to the batteries used. Plastimo we recommend the use of lithium batteries (4x AA L91) for an increased autonomy of 9h continuously, compared with alkaline batteries (4x AA) for an autonomy of 3h continuously . To change the batteries (every year if the lamp is not in use), the bottom of the case can be unscrewed , with an opening secured by a locking device that makes the distress lamp waterproof. ⚠️Livréewithout batteries |
