Description

MRT - sMRT Alert MOB distress beacon - AIS & VHF-DSC - Class M

The sMRT ALERT MRT is an individual MOB (person overboard) distress beacon that transmits an alert signal and position update via AIS and VHF-DSC to maximize the chances of survival in a distress situation.

The beacon sends an alert to all VHF radios within range, followed by position updates via AIS to enable precise tracking. The beacon's wearer is reassured by the integrated status check with audio and visual signals .

The GNSS GPS + Galileo satellite combination, and AIS targeting via VHF , enable live, regularly-updated communication of the man overboard's position, facilitating search and rescue operations.

Meeting the new standards required by Division 219 for people working alone on a boat, this beacon is designed to be worn on a lifejacket, offering enhanced personal safety.
