The FM4800 is a new VHF marine radiotelephone with integrated Class D DSC, GPS receiver, AIS receiver and simplified megaphone with intercom. Its compact housing allows it to be installed in a variety of boats, even those where space is limited, such as center console boats.


	THE ULTIMATE 5-IN-1 VHF The FM4850 VHF features a powerful, high-quality 25-watt transmitter. AIS receiver 72-channel GPS receiver NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 connection Megaphone and foghorn function DSC class D function (distress and direct call with programmed MMSI)

AIS FUNCTION Its integrated AIS receiver enables AIS targets to be superimposed on cartography on GPS plotters or multifunction displays connected to Furuno. It can also share GPS, DSC or AIS information via the NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 network. When the VHF is connected via NMEA2000, an ANS call can be initiated directly from the multifunction display by simply tapping on the AIS/ASN target.

	MEGAPHONE, INTERCOM AND LISTEN BACK The VHF can operate as a simplified megaphone with intercom and foghorn. The foghorn function, with its 8 different tones, enhances safety and communications when navigating at night or in fog. When an optional HS-4800 handset is connected to the second station's handset, intercom communications are available, enabling communication between the two devices. Listen Back is a very effective tool on fishing boats, allowing the horn speaker to pick up the sound of trolling rods during a touchdown.
