GPSMAP 1223xsv is equipped with the traditional sounder CHIRPOne of the most innovative technologies on the market. It delivers razor-sharp images with outstanding definition and target separation.

The technology CHIRP allows :

• Denser information and sharper, high-resolution images
• Better target separation and sharper rendering of fish arches
• Improved bottom tracking and fish detection even at high speed

The sounder module CHIRP built-in 1000W single-channel allows operation of any probe CHIRP single-channel: low, medium or high frequencies.

CLEARVÜ TECHNOLOGY

ClearVü technology is the most powerful on the market. It delivers images extremely realistic, very good quality and quasi-photographic of everything that happens under the boat. This ultra-precise function lets you see structures, fish and submerged objects.

With ClearVü technology you can :

• See thermoclines: boundary between water layers and oxygen-rich zones.
• Fish identification: no room for interpretation, it identifies clearly.
• Reveal structures: shipwrecks, vegetation, bridge piers, mortises...

SIDEVÜ TECHNOLOGY

SideVü technology lets you see what's happening on both sides of the boat. You'll be able to spot structures and, above all, fish. It's accurate with a highly detailed image à high resolution.

This function makes it possible to locate fishing areas more quickly, thanks to an extremely wide 180° scanning field.

Not available on 2D probe version.

PROBE-COMPATIBLE PANOPTIX

• Panoptix LiveScope 2 sounders in one (Down and Forward), real-time, perfectly detailed image.

• LiveVü Forward : See what's happening in front of your boat in real time

• RealVü 3D Forward 3D modeling of everything that happens in front of your boat

• FrontVü avoid collisions, this mode displays obstructions in real time

• LiveVÜ Down real-time indication of forage fish balls and predators under the boat's hull (distance and depth)

• RealVü 3D Historical 3D view of the entire water column and fish (as the boat moves)

GARMIN NETWORK AND NMEA 2000

You can integrate the GPSMAP 1223xsv with all your boat's electronics. Access to functions radar, autopilot and various sensors

It can also take care of fLIR cameras, the keyboard Garmin GRID, system, the FUSION-Link audio, diffusion from a vIRB camera... It lets you share data between all network-compatible devices.

THE BEST CARDS

GPSMAP 1223xsv gives you the best maps: BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision. These maps include all Navionics, autoguiding technology and a host of other options. Use a microSD card (max. 32 GB) to store all your maps.

Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, pair your device with the free ActiveCaptain app and access OneChart to update, buy or download new maps.

QUICKDRAW FUNCTION

Quickdraw Contours software creates your hD fishing cards in real time. It's now possible to create your own maps without any special knowledge.

With GPSMAP 1223xsv you can store the equivalent of 8000 km² of maps Quickdraw Contours with bathymetric curves displayed every 30 cm.

Download maps or share your own by connecting via WI-FI to the free ActiveCaptain app. Receive on-screen notifications of new updates to your echo sounder via the app.

SAILASSIST FUNCTION

To join forces with the wind, the tracer Garmin GPSMAP 1223xsv includes a pre-race guidance page. You'll be able to display the virtual starting line of a regatta, as well as several data fields such as: laylines, pre-start countdown and countdown timer.

This can be synchronized across all products Garmin thanks to its network connectivity.

This device has many other functions to assist you in your sailing, such as optimized compass rose, tracked course, course and drift, and true and apparent wind data fields.
