Live Imaging Forward & Down viewsBenefit from high-resolution images and visualize fish movement in real time with the Live 4 probe-at-1 (Live Forward, Live Down, Chirp and DownScan Imaging with FishReveal). The live probe supplied with the Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 offers the same resolution as ActiveTarget 2, but with a reduced beamwidth. This live probe gives you precise downward and forward views: Live Forward view : observe and analyze the structure and fish in front of your boat, so you can target your next cast perfectly to optimize your chances of catch. Live Down view: observe the depths and determine more precisely what lies directly below your boat, so you can place your lure right in front of the fish. |
DownScan Imaging technologyExclusive innovation Lowrance DownScan Imaging displays a crystal-clear image of the world below-marine. No need to interpret for :

FishReveal technologyDiscover the power of Fisreveal technology, an exclusive innovation from Lowrance which combines the advantages of 2D CHIRP and DownScan Imaging on a single screen. Lowrance has chosen to integrate this feature, until now reserved for its top-of-the-range models. Hello, is it possible to use the sounder in cartography mode during navigation (at high speed) without the probe being in the water (to avoid possible shocks, as the probe is mounted on a pole)? Thank you
Hello,
It all depends on the type of cartography you wish to use:
- If you're talking about the C-MAP navigation chart:
Yes, you can navigate at high speed without the probe in the water. The C-MAP map relies solely on GPS, so the probe is not necessary. This means you can view the map and track your position without any problems. Note: Eagle Eye 9 is compatible with C-MAP Discover. - If you're talking about the Genesis Live bathymetric mapping mode:
- If you want to create or save a map, the probe must be in the water, as the system needs the depth measurements to generate the map.
- However, if you wish to display an already saved Genesis Live map, you can do so without the probe being underwater. Be sure to disconnect the probe when it is out of the water.
Can-be networked?
Hello Ugo, unfortunately you cannot network two or more Eagle 9 Eye devices.
Is theEagle 9 Eye- suitable for use as a float tube on a vertical dam lake?
Hi Romane, Yes, theEagle 9 Eye is very well suited to float tube fishing. It offers a clear image with good lure tracking. Its beam is narrow, which requires a little precision in positioning and its settings will need to be adjusted according to the depth and clarity of the water.
For more details, see a video of Team Lowrance France testing theEagle 9 Eye on a float tube.
Hello, what cards is theEagle 9 Eye compatible with?
Hello Slimane, theEagle 9 Eye comes with a pre-installed-world map background, but is also compatible with the CMAP DISCOVER range.
Which probes are compatible withEagle 9 Eye?
Hello Gautier, theEagle 9 Eye is compatible only with the Live Imaging probe supplied with the screen.
