TRADITIONAL 2D SONAR CHIRP

The Minn Kota X16 has a fish finder CHIRP 1,000-watt single-channel sonar. It displays detailed images to help you better identify fish, distinguish between closely spaced targets, and track changes in the seabed.

It accepts probes CHIRP single-channel in the low, mid, and high frequencies.

MEGA DOWN IMAGING+

The MEGA Down Imaging+ achieves a depth of use twice that of the MEGA Down Imaging, while retaining the benefits of very high-frequency imaging.

This allows you to examine the seafloor topography and submerged structures using detailed images, even in deeper areas.

MEGA SIDE IMAGING+

The MEGA Side Imaging+ explores up to 60 m on either side of the boat, for a total coverage of 120 m. This side view makes it easier to spot fish and structures without having to navigate directly to the-above.

The MSI+ zoom provides up to 6x magnification without losing detail, thanks to signal processing. Rather than enlarging the pixels, the fishfinder recalculates the image of the selected area to help you examine features detected on either side of the boat.

AUTOCHART LIVE

With AutoChart Live, you can create your own depth charts of the bodies of water you're exploring, for your personal use. The readings appear directly on the fishfinder, and the chart is updated as you move.

The X16 offers 8 hours of AutoChart Live recording capacity. In addition to topography, this feature can display changes in vegetation and bottom hardness. This allows you to keep track of the areas you’ve explored and review this information on your future outings.

To increase the memory capacity of AutoChart Live, the AutoChart map is necessary.

GPS & MAPS

The Minn Kota X16 is equipped with a built-in 10 Hz GPS antenna to track your position while navigating and locate your saved fishing spots.

Waypoint and route management has been updated. The X10 can store up to 10,000 waypoints and routes. Search, sorting, import, and export features help you organize your locations and routes.

The fish finder is compatible with maps Navionics+, , Platinium+, , CoastMaster and LakeMaster.

Please note that the navigation map is not included with the device.

CONNECTIVITY AND NETWORKING

The Minn Kota X16 has an Ethernet port for connecting it to other compatible equipment on the boat.

It also supports NMEA2000, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connections-Well, it depends on the devices used.

Depending on your setup, you can connect it to a radar, among other things CHIRP, an AutoPilot system, a VHF radio, or a Audio equipment Fusion compatible.

MINN KOTA FISHING ECOSYSTEM

The X16 can connect wirelessly to a compatible Minn Kota motor. Once the devices are paired, you can access the motor controls and several navigation features directly from the fishfinder screen.
