The SH420 lets you apply only the power you need to perform your maneuver. Variable speed control eliminates the noise associated with standard on/off thrusters. With a dual configuration (front and rear), you also benefit from a convenient hold function that lets you set and leave the thrust level.
S-Link system
S-Link is a CAN-based control system used for communication between Sleipner Side-Power products installed on a vessel.

IPC control system (Intelligent Power Control)
- Improves thruster reliability and safety. If the relay is blocked during operation, the thruster is automatically stopped.
Gravity lubrication
- The thruster is supplied with oil from a separate tank located above the waterline. This generates excess pressure, ensuring an effective seal against water intrusion, while allowing easy access for oil changes.
Twin propellers
- Twin propellers can deliver more thrust than a single-propeller system in the same tunnel diameter. Sleipner uses this system in mid-range models, where high thrust is required in small-diameter tunnels. Because of their compact design and high performance, twin models have become the thrusters of choice for boat builders worldwide.
