They have to support heavy loads (e.g. hydraulic aggregates) which have to be activated immediately on start-up. The Buffalo Bull high-current battery has been developed to meet these requirements.

Good to know: calcium lead batteries are conventional lead-acid batteries in which calcium has been added to the lead to minimize water consumption.
