HAMMAR hydrostatic release for non-SOLAS liferafts

The hydrostatic release for non-SOLAS lif erafts enables rapid release of the liferaft from its support. It releases the liferaft from the boat by means of water pressure, with a release depth of 1.50m to 4m.

This release is designed for non-structural liferafts from 4 to 12 persons stored in containers and/or on a flat deck support with straps.

This liferaft release accessory when a vessel is sinking is designed with a mooring line forming 2 loops, a release mechanism and a breaking line.

Features:

  • Service life: 2 years from date of installation on board
  • Inspection and maintenance-free
  • Corrosion-resistant
  • Dimensions (excluding mooring lines): 95 x 65 x 60 mm
  • Provide 2 shackles for installation (Ø 8 mm lyre shackles; not included)

⚠️ Caution: Do not open the raft! The raft must be released manually.
