The PRS rigid dinghy from Plastimo is a safe, practical and easy-to-use boat, offering the comfort and stability essential for rugged performance. Equipped with a small engine, it can be used in harbor, at anchor, or on freshwater, for fishing or cruising.
Its rigid polyethylene hull makes it highly resistant to UV rays and ultra-easy to maintain.
It features an integrated central bench, as well as a removable bench with reserve buoyancy.

Hello, I wanted to know if it was compulsory to register my rigid dinghy?
Hi Marc, in most cases, a tender does not need to be registered, as it is attached to its parent vessel. Nevertheless, it must bear the registration of its carrier boat, preceded by the letters AXE, and must not be more than 300 meters from its mother boat.
If it does not depend on a carrier vessel, the dinghy becomes an independent craft and requires registration.

Is-any safety equipment required on board my dinghy?
Hello Corinne, the regulations do not impose any mandatory safety equipment aboard a dinghy. The only recommendation is to wear a lifejacket and a lighted marker.
Hello, I would like to know how to properly maintain my dinghy?
Hello, whether it's made of PVC, hypalon or any other material, maintenance will help extend its life and ensure its safety and performance.
First of all, remember to rinse it with fresh water after use. You can also use a special, non-aggressive product with a brush or sponge.
Mechanical maintenance is also necessary. Check the pressure carefully and respect the pressure recommended in the manual. Also check valves, end caps, seams and seals.
It's also important to carry a repair kit with you at all times, including suitable glue, patches, a valve tip and a pump in case of need.
Can-I attach a motor to this tender?
Yes, a motor can be fitted to the PRS rigid tender, but only a short-shaft electric motor. However, for the PRS 210 model, the motor must not exceed a maximum power rating of 2 HP, and 3 HP for the PRS 245.
Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions when installing the motor.
Does the dinghy-come with accessories?
Hi Régis, yes, the dinghy comes with accessories: a launch wheel, a removable bench with buoyancy reserve, two oarlocks and two built-in supports. However, the oars are not included.
