The RT420 MAX portable VHF has a power rating of 6W. It is waterproof to IPX8, floats and features the WDT (Water Deplacement Technology) system, which automatically evacuates water by vibration.

The RT420 MAX is also equipped with a flashlight function that activates automatically on contact with water, and a 4000 mAh lithium-polymer battery.
