FURUNO - M1935 RADAR - SAFE NAVIGATION
This Furuno M1935 radar will provide you with a clear, detailed representation of targets. Thanks to automatic gain, sea return and rain control, true and full screen modes, you'll benefit from precise, clear radar imagery of targets far and near.
Using the programmable NMEA183 interface Furuno, it can also be interconnected with a chartplotter or sounder, so you can modulate and adjust your onboard system to suit your needs.
DISPLAY AIS / ARPAThe M1935 radar can detect and display a total of 100 AIS and 10 ARPA targets, allowing you to track all nearby vessels. You'll find all navigation information from transmitters and receivers AIS, including boat ID, name, course, speed, rate of turn and destination. You can select them for real-time tracking. Unlike ARPA, AIS targets will be visible on screen, even if masked by another boat or an island. |

RETURN CONTROLIn addition to automatic return processing, the M1935 Furuno radar features rotary knobs for adjusting gain and sea, rain or other precipitation echoes , enabling you to fine-tune the suppression of unwanted echoes. These return settings can be adjusted manually to remove them from the radar screen and obtain a clear view of the actual targets. |

TARGET DISCRIMINATIONTarget discrimination is an important feature on marine radars, enabling radar signals from different targets, such as ships, buoys, islands, birds and weather conditions, to be differentiated. This feature enables navigators to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant targets, so they can make informed decisions about navigation and safety on board. With its advanced signal, the Furuno M1935 radar enables precise, advanced target detection even on very small scales. As shown in the image opposite, the M1935 radar clearly indicates fine pillars at very close range. |
|
TRUE & FULL SCREEN MODEThe new Furuno M1935 radar also features new display modes. True mode displays moving targets relative to your boat's position. Targets moving in the same direction as your boat will appear stationary on screen, while targets moving in a different direction from your boat will appear moving on screen. There's also a full-screen mode that makes echo images easier to see and read, with a wider overview that fills the screen. There is an option to remove navigation data from the radar screen. Individual navigation data can be easily switched from ON (see image 1) to OFF (see image 2) via a dedicated menu. All these functions will help you to more easily interpret the target displacement information detected by the radar for safe navigation |
