The 38.1 cm / 15 ePropulsion X12 short shaft motor is an off-board-electric motor designed for boats such as semi-rigids, dinghies and fishing boats.
It has a rated power of 12,000 W, equivalent to a 30 HP internal combustion engine, and can run for up to 50 minutes at a speed of 25 km/h at full power with its G102-100 external battery (not supplied).

The ePropulsion X12 electric motor offers C02-emission-free electric propulsion, with a powertrain efficiency of 88.2%, the highest in its class.
X series motors are distinguished by their compact, all-- one design, electric steering system, advanced driver assistance functions and connectivity. Thanks to their modular architecture, they are easy to install and integrate seamlessly with renewable energy sources.

A compact, ergonomic motorElectric steering, tilt adjustment, ECU (electronic control unit) and motor controller are all integrated into a single, compact unit. Thanks to the absence of an external steering mechanism, this saves space at the rear of the motor, offering more room for boarding, swimming or socializing. What's more, the motor is up to 36% lighter than other equivalent motors. It also incorporates vibration-damping and frequency-resonance isolation technology. The motor is built to last, thanks to its IP67 waterproof rating, shock protection and reliable, IEC-compliant 96V electrical platform. |
OPTIMIZED NAVIGATION EXPERIENCEThe X-series digital steering wheel or intelligent throttle (not supplied) are highly responsive and easy to use, making speed and steering control intuitive and highly maneuverable. Motor-integrated electric steering eliminates the need for hydraulic systems, simplifying installation and reducing maintenance. It also paves the way for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering enhanced safety and control features that transform the navigation experience.
