The Em-Trak B923 AIS transponder consumes less power, while offering the best AIS and GPS performance, ensuring that every transmission is translated in real time and without error.
It features an integrated VHF antenna splitter, allowing both the VHF and the AIS receiver to use a single antenna.
As a reminder, a Class B AIS transponder is a device used on vessels to transmit and receive information on position, heading, speed, characteristics, position via GPS connection, vessel identity via MMSI number and name. The Class B AIS transponder is a smaller, less expensive version of the Class A AIS transponders used on large commercial vessels.
