The AIT2500 Digital Yacht is a AIS Class B 5W SOTDMA transponder equipped with several NMEA interfaces and an external GPS antenna.

The AIS class B Digital Yacht AIT2500 ultra-compact transponder features three outputs: NMEA0183, NMEA2000 and a USB connection. This enables it to work with any compatible AIS chartplotter or navigation software.

It features a remote silence function, two NMEA0183 inputs and outputs, four LEDs and a very robust, vibration-resistant mounting bracket.


	AIS FAST AND POWERFUL The AIT2500 uses SOTDMA technology and has a power rating of 5W instead of 2W. SOTDMA technology is also used by AIS Class A transponders, so the AIT2500 has the same priority when it comes to reserving a slot, ensuring that it is always able to transmit. Transmission speed is 5 sec instead of 30 sec. This new technology is therefore useful for sailors who need the best possible performance. Thanks to SOTDMA technology, the transponder can also be tracked by satellite (subscription to specialized sites required).

Transponder configurationAIS Configuring your boat's fixed data, such as MMSI, call signal, boat name, dimensions, etc., is made easy with the Windows and Mac compatible proAIS2 software. It also includes Smarter Track Lite software for PC data processing AIS. Once configured, the unit will deliver AIS data to a PC or Mac running the appropriate navigation software or to a dedicated chartplotter, such as Garmin, Raymarine, Navico, Standard Horizon and Furuno units. With two standard NMEA 0183 outputs, an NMEA2000 interface for connection to an NMEA 2000 network and a simple USB Plug and Play connection for a PC, the AIT2500 is the perfect AIS transponder for all vessels up to 300 tons.

	Optional MOB box This AIS alarm (sold separately) is designed to work with SART and MOB beacons, operating autonomously and automatically. As soon as a AIS SART transmission is detected, the box sounds its internal 95dB alarm and displays a warning message with a red light. For larger installations, it can also be connected to an external alarm so that the whole boat is immediately warned.
