The sprocket is an essential component in the operation of your windlass and plays a very important role in the anchor lifting and lowering process. It is an integral part of the deck unit and enables the anchor chain to be lifted from your boat. The chain wraps around the sprocket, preventing tangles and knots .
The sprocket is compatible with the V1, V2 12V or 24V and V3 12V or 24V windlasses, which can accommodate 6mm ISO 4565 diameter chain or 12 to 14mm diameter rope.
It can also be used with V1 and V2/3 deck units to complete your deck unit.

LEWMAR - Barb for V1/V2/V3 - 6 mm ISO 4565
Mooring chains for boats are subject to standards which regulate their manufacture. There are two types of standard: ISO 4565 is a more general international standard, while DIN 766 is a more specific German standard, focusing in particular on steel anchor chains.
ISO 4565 chains have wider and longer links than DIN 766 chains, which implies differences in dimensions , weight and strength .
Here, the sprocket can accommodate 6mm ISO 4565 chain .
The sprocket for V1/V2/V3 is available in four different versions:
- 68000840 : 6mm ISO 4565
- 68000360 : 7mm ISO 4565
- 68000361 : 8mm ISO 4565
- 68000362 : 10mm ISO 4565
