NavAlert is a solution that lets you easily configure alerts on your tablet or smartphone wifi connected to the box.
This alarm system keeps an eye on the boat's operating parameters and informs you with an audible alarm in the event of a problem. The alarm can be set for tone, intermittence, etc., to help you keep track of your audible alerts.

NavAlert connects to the NMEA 2000 network and enables you to create alerts based on your NMEA 2000 devices and data, using your Wifi-enabled smartphone. NavAlert allows the user to set an alarm for any network variable: shallow water , low fuel level , course deviation , high temperature , etc. NavAlert also features anchor , man-overboard and collision alarms .
It uses a simple interface that enables it to be configured using any phone or tablet with a web browser.
The device can also broadcast the alarm to a recent multifunction display (currently supported by Garmin) to display an alarm window. It plugs in and is powered via a NMEA2000 socket.
NavAlert can connect to your 4GXtream to send an alert sms to your smartphone. (no sms without 4G Xtream)
YOUR ALERTS ON TABLETConnected to the Wifi network provided by NavAlert with your phone or tablet, you can view, modify, stop or create the alerts that interest you . Simply select the parameter you wish to monitor and set an alarm. Multiple parameters can be monitored. NavAlert offers audible alerts through the device itself, as well as through an external alarm supplied with the device. Alarms can be stopped via the web interface , or physically using the button on the device NavAlert can monitor any parameter on the boat's NMEA 2000 network . This can include engine or generator data such as temperature and pressure , navigation data such as depth , position , AIS , speed or wind , or even the status of simple connected devices such as pumps and switches. Customized alarms can be defined, and NavAlert will provide audible and visual alarms. |

COLLISION ALARMCollisions remain a major threat at sea. NavAlert therefore uses AIS data for collision alarms. CPA (closest point of approach) and TCPA (time to closest point of approach) alarms can be pre-set. Alarms are independent of alarms set on a chartplotter, enabling NavAlert to operate even if the chartplotter is switched off. |

ANCHOR ALERTAnchor drift remains a concern for yachtsmen. The anchor alarm uses an algorithm to calculate the optimum drift radius based on the depth and extent of the chain. The algorithm takes into account the length of the boat , the depth of the water and the length of the chain to calculate the optimum radius and thus alert you in the event of drift . |
|
ALERTS ON YOUR MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAYAlerts can also be relayed to compatible multifunction devices , in the form of a window (Garmin supports this function). There's also a dedicated MOB (man overboard) function , or a simple switch can activate a synthetic AIS MOB message on the network enabling connected devices and plotters to receive the man overboard alarm . |
