GARMIN - REACTOR 40 - FOR HYDRAULIC STEERING
Designed for speedboats and sailboats, the Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot for hydraulic steering is quite simply the most responsive ever imagined. A must! The Reactor 40 has all the functions you need for sailing or motoring: course keeping, wind mode, gybing/tacking and much more. No matter what the sea state, this pilot will keep you on course with deadly accuracy!
Connect your chartplotter to this autopilot via NMEA2000 for total control. With BlueChart g3 charts on your Garmin chartplotter, you'll benefit from the autoguiding system: automatically follow the route created by your GPS. If you don't have a GPS Garmin, you can still connect it via the NMEA2000 or NMEA0183 bus, using the optional 010-11129-00cable .
Choice of GHC 20 or GHC 50 controller
You can choose between two pilot controllers , the GHC 20 or the GHC 50. Control your autopilot with the GHC 20 console . With its large 4" color display and 170° readability, it's easy to read , even from a distance. Thanks to its bonded, anti-reflective glass screen, it improves contrast in bright sunlight and also prevents the screen from fogging up. If you're looking for a slightly larger, touch-sensitive screen, and the ability to connect to the Garmin local network via wifi, opt for the GHC 50 pilot console , with its 5" touch-sensitive screen and fluid new interface. |

THE CCU: THE REACTOR 40'S BRAINThe Course Computer Unit (CCU) is used to determine heading and engine speed. With its advanced 9-axis solid-state attitude and heading reference system (AHRS), it offers virtually unlimited mounting possibilities, whatever the orientation. HYDRAULIC PUMPUse the 1,2L or 2L pump with your Reactor 40 autopilot system. This pump steers the boat in interaction with the hydraulic steering system, according to setpoints activated from the GHC pilot controller. The type of pump to use is determined by the size and type of steering system on your boat. The 1.2L pump is compatible with 100cm3 steering cylinders The 2L pump is compatible with 163cm3 steering cylinders Hydraulic pump is optional, see packs above. |
