The GyroPilot 3 computer gives every user unmatched high-quality steering control. It replaces the NKE GyroPilot 2.

This new range of autopilots meets the needs of the cruising and racing sectors, as well as those of the offshore racing sector.

NKE packs are made up of the essential components needed to use your GyroPilot 3. You can choose between a Fluxgate compass or a high-precision 9X compass, with a Multigraphic or Multidisplay II display and a Pad Pilot remote control.

All packs are delivered with the rudder angle sensor.
Each pack is available with a white or carbon color screen, according to your choice.

The GyroPilot 3 computer can be used to perform the following actions:

Following a course, a route or the wind in all sea and wind conditions.
Keep the boat stable by making sure the gite constante, if gite mode is activated.
Check for wind gusts, if gust mode is enabled.
Make a transfer or automatic gybing.

The autopilot can be used with different modes these include true wind mode, apparent wind mode, compass mode, helm mode, GPS mode and the "SUPER" modes, i.e. list mode and gust mode.

GYROPILOT 3 CONTROL MODES GyroPilot 3 computer has a total of 6 control modes, a display will show only those modes that can be used with the sensors available on the system. If, for example, an Anemo-Girouette is missing, the wind modes are not available. Only the rudder angle sensor is required in all steering modes. Bar mode: requires a rudder angle sensor connected and configured on the ECU. This is a basic mode for setting a bar angle and locking the bar. Compass mode : requires a cape source. GyroPilot 3 steers the boat by following the magnetic course of your compass. Apparent wind mode : requires an anemovane sensor. The GyroPilot 3 steers the boat by following the apparent wind angle delivered by your anemovane sensor True wind mode : requires a wind sensor and boat speed. This mode allows you to ride the wave straight down at the optimum descent angle. GPS mode : requires a compass sensor, as well as a GPS, or any other instrument delivering NMEA GPS frames. The latter must be connected to an NMEA input on the nke installation. GyroPilot 3 steers the boat along the route provided by the GPS to a given waypoint. Polar mode: requires an external calculator that provides the optimal wind angle (VMG) calculated from a speed polar. Polar mode allows the boat to follow an optimal wind angle, and works in the same way as true wind mode.

	MULTIGRAPHIC DESK NKE (optional, depending on model) The Multigraphic from NKE is a multifunction pilot controller with a 5.7" LED display. Featuring buttons and a large backlit color display, it gives you quick access to all GyroPilot 3 autopilot setting modes. It also displays all navigation data present on the network for unrivalled readability. It offers a wide 160° viewing angle and low power consumption with its light sensor for controlled backlighting.

MULTIDISPLAY + PAD PILOT NKE (optional, depending on model) The display's intuitive interface lets you configure the display down to the selection of the most suitable theme, calibrate sensors, manage alarms, set or control a driver, etc NKE. Visit navigation data make this display a high-performance device, with 10 programmable pages of 1 to 6 data. In addition, a display of BUS NKE and NMEA values round out the technical features of this device. The wired remote control has A-B-C-D buttons for direct access to the pre-programmed configurations. The PAD also provides access to the various menus. And one pad can control several multidisplays.

	COMPASS (optional, depending on model) Fluxgate Compass: Thanks to a self-compensating curve in 10° steps, you'll obtain a precise heading. This compass provides the essential basis for calculating true wind direction. Compass 9X : The Compas 9X is a precision sensor comparable to an inertial unit, fusing data from accelerometers, gyrometers and magnetometers in real time. It delivers true orientation in 3D space: heading, heel and pitch. Movement and orientation are available at a frequency of 25 Hz.
