Here in PRO version, the SEP170 lets you apply only the power needed to perform your maneuver. Variable speed control eliminates the noise associated with standard on/off thrusters. With a dual configuration (forward and reverse), you also benefit from a convenient hold function that lets you set and leave the thrust level.

PPC820 drive included

The PPC820 power control unit has a maximum output current of 1000 A and is compatible with all 12 and 24 volt electric thrusters.

The PPC820 memorizes historical error codes and communicates real-time information to the PJC control panel, such as the amount and direction of thrust on either thruster, remaining operating time, battery status and temperature.

S-Link system

S-Link is a CAN-based control system used for communication between Sleipner products installed on a vessel.

IPC control system (Intelligent Power Control)

• Improves thruster reliability and safety. If the relay is blocked during operation, the thruster is automatically stopped.

Gravity Feed Lubrication

• On higher models, lubrication is provided by a small reservoir. Located above the waterline. This prevents the ingress of water, makes it easy to see the oil level and facilitates oil replacement.

TC Twin Counter: Counter-rotation

• Two counter-rotating propellers provide maximum thrust, while maintaining good performance in relation to diameter. This type of propeller is used for larger thrusters to obtain maximum power.

Q-PROP propellers

• 5-blade propellers with asymmetrical (skew) profile. These new propellers deliver a thrust gain of around 5%, while reducing noise levels
