Sikaflex-291 One-component paste mastic adhesive.

Sikaflex 291 mastic adhesive is a versatile product that can be used in many different ways in the shipbuilding industry. It is used to create flexible, vibration-resistant joints in interior applications. Sikaflex 291 has excellent adhesion to the main materials used in shipbuilding.

Suitable substrates include wood, metals, primers and paints (two-component systems), ceramic materials and plastics (GRP etc.). Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dust and dirt.

Sikaflex 291 must not be used to seal plastics subject to crazing (p.ex. PMMA, PC etc.). This product is only suitable for experienced users. To guarantee adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests should be carried out with the original materials under appropriate conditions.
