The Digital Yacht 5G Xtream router can handle 5G connection speeds on land of up to 3.1 Gbit/s . In addition, it is equipped with a Cat 20 4G modem that ensures a connection up to 25 nautical miles (~40km ) offshore, with speeds of up to 2 Gbit/s .
For its higher-frequency 5G transmissions, the system integrates three external antennas , comprising two high-gain vertical antennas and a separate compact dome. The use of MIMO technology and separate antennas guarantees optimum performance . The configuration enables management of two SIM cards , with the option of automatic failover or manual switching between operators .
The Digital Yacht 5G Xtream comes complete with antennas, brackets and cables . Simply add a SIM card for optimal use.
5G Xtream router overviewThe 5G Xtream Digital Yach features a dual-frequency Wi-Fi router (2.4 and 5 GHz), enabling on-board users to easily search and connect to password-protected Wi-Fi networks . It features 4 LAN ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) for peripherals, plus a WAN port optimized for integration with the Starlink system . The router can also be set up to access marinas' Wi-Fi networks as an alternative for Internet access. An optional Wi-Fi booster antenna is available to extend the range of Wi-Fi networks . For experienced users, the 5G Xtream offers features for user management , VPN , blacklists and IoT (Internet of Things) applications . NMEA 0183/2000 data can also be integrated using Digital Yacht ' s LANLink. The integrated GPS enables SMS reporting of the boat's position or the configuration of an anchor alarm via the 5G Xtream interface. |

5G router configurationConfiguration is quick and easy , simply by inserting the SIM cards. The Difital Yacht 5G Xtream router is equipped with two standard SIM card slots , allowing you to install two SIM cards from different network operators . By default, the 5G Xtream examines the SIM card inserted and automatically selects APN settings from its internal database. However, it is very important that you secure the Wi-Fi network generated by your 5G Xtream by assigning your own Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and setting a password. This procedure takes just a few minutes of your time. |

Router interface Digital Yacht 5GXtream Digital Yacht 5G router features are accessed via a user-friendly web interface . Simply open a web page and enter the IP address of the 5G Xtream (http://192.168.1.1 ) to access its integrated web interface, enabling you to configure various functions, Wi-Fi networks, view speed, etc . Once the configuration is established, there should generally be no need to reconnect, unless diagnostics or configuration adjustments are required . However, through the web interface, you have the option of setting up an anchor alarm and receiving alerts by SMS . Users easily access the Internet via the Wi-Fi network emitted by the 5G Xtream, replicating an experience similar to that at home or in the office . |
