Pilot Pro 180 Plastimo lifejacket for commercial and professional fishing vessels, oil rigs, wind farms and industry. It's a comfortable, highly resistant lifejacket (fire-resistant outer cover), adapted to working conditions. Lifejacket category 150 N, effective buoyancy 180 N.

The 150 N category Pilot pro 180 lifejacket from Plastimo offers 180 Newton of buoyancy . It can turn a person wearing an oilskin over in less than 5 seconds, positioning the wearer on his or her back even when unconscious. The vest is automatically triggered by a 33g Co2 cartridge.

Equipped with a double-sided PVC-coated yellow fabric, fire-retardant, highly resistant and washable. The 40mm wide, adjustable polypropylene strap allows the vest to be adjusted for a waist circumference of 60-175cm. The vest is highly visible thanks to 300 cm2 of reflective tape.

AUTOMATIC RELEASE SYSTEM

The automatic release system (or cellulose pellet system) uses a cartridge with a soluble element that is resistant to humidity and sea spray. As a result, the vest will only activate after immersion in water. On contact with water, the pellet disintegrates (salt or cellulose). It releases a powerful spring which activates a striker that strikes the carbon dioxide cylinder. The kit has an expiration date beyond which it must be replaced.

However, there is a risk of unintentional activation (by a large wave, for example).

All inflatable vests can be triggered manually.
