MCMURDO - Smartfind M5 - NMEA 2000 compatible AIS radar transponder

Mc Murdo's Smartfind M5 is a Class A A AIS transponder with a 3.5" color display and selector wheel for quick data access. Very easy to install, it can be flush-mounted in your dashboard or mounted on a bracket.

Designed for stand-alone operation, the McMurdo SmartFind M5 AIS Class A transponder can also be integrated with ECDIS (electronic chart display), ECS (electronic chart system) or chartplotters via its NMEA0183, NMEA2000 and USB interfaces. It can also be interfaced with a PC system using the PC AIS Viewer software supplied with the unit.


	SMARTFIND M5 To ensure safe navigation, the Smartfind M5 sends all your boat and navigation information to be integrated into the AIS system and received by other vessels around you. The Smartfind M5 contains a dual-channel receiver for optimum performance. What's more, this transponder is equipped with a recorder that lets you save all AIS information on an SD card for over 30 days. It also incorporates MOB alarms from AIS MOB type S10 and S20 and AIS SART which are triggered on receipt of an AIS MOB message. You can have a list of AIS MOBs with the names of crew members associated with each transmitter.
