This Sart S100 radar transponder from Ocean Signal will emit a powerful signal , perfectly assisting rescue operations to locate shipwrecked people quickly and easily .
It's an excellent complement to the compulsory life raft equipment .
The Safesea S100 Ocean Signal (x-band) radar transponder is SOLAS-approved and complies with IMO and GMDSS requirements.
Powerful Seasafe S100 radar signalWhen the Ocean Signal Safesea Sart S100 radar transponder is activated, it emits a powerful signal that remains on standby (for over 96 hours) until it detects an X-band radar scan from a nearby vessel. Once the radar signal is received by a ship or aircraft, it automatically transmits a response signal , which clearly identifies the lifeboat on the radar screen by means of a set of 12 dots in line (in the form of a broken line indicating the azimuth of the life raft or boat on which it is embarked). |
