The HERO Solas TOB liferaft is designed for commercial vessels, yachts and mega-yachts. Stored in a flat, compact container, this model is designed for 6 people, but is also available for 8, 10, 12 or 16.

The HERO SOLAS TOB (Throw Over Board) liferaft is designed for boats of 24 meters (80 feet) and over. This inflatable liferaft inflates very quickly thanks to its hydrostatic release system, and has a maximum drop height of 36 m.

The HERO SOLAS TOB liferaft complies with IMO/SOLAS, LSA, MED regulations issued by the maritime classification society DNV/GL. It contains standard equipment for an estimated rescue waiting time of less than 24 hours. However, we recommend that you carry one or more Grab Bags.


	Visibility and safety It is designed with 3 independent inflatable compartments (equipped with anti-return valves). The floor is made of rubber-coated fabric, closed-cell foam and aluminum foil for optimum thermal insulation. Under the raft, 4 instant-fill stabilization pockets act as anti-drift ballasts. Boarding is via an inflatable access ramp, coupled with an internal ladder. Its large entrance facilitates access for passengers and rescue operations. Interior and exterior lifelines, as well as exterior and interior handles, make it easy to climb aboard. The orange-colored SOLAS canopy with retro-reflective-stripes is easy to detect, even in poor visibility or adverse weather conditions, and is equipped with an external LED flashlight with automatic or manual activation. It also incorporates rain gutters and collectors, as well as an observation hatch.
