Tough as nails

The only manufacturer to offer it, the double chamber is exclusive to Plastimo. The liferafts are made from 1100 Decitex PVC-coated polyester for optimum safety against abrasion and chafing.

Buoyancy and waterproofing (water and air) are ensured by double air chambers (pellets) made of polyurethane. This design ensures 600% elasticity for an absolute guarantee against perforation.

Designed without any glue to avoid any risk of degradation for increased longevity. The various components and technologies are sewn together, then heat-bonded to withstand the stress of percussive gas inflation. The bottom of the raft is a double bottom of aluminized insulating foam.

To ensure that the Transocean deep-sea raft "sticks to the sea", stabilization pockets (4 of 55 liters) are located under the boat. They ensure the raft's stability and prevent it from overturning or drifting.

The raft is inflated automatically by pulling on one end, then gas pressure takes care of the rest. This patented system prevents a child or injured person from hitting the raft.

Safety first

The Transocean life raft Plastimo features to ensure your safety and visibility.

• Lighting sOLAS 4.3 CD lithium lamp on top of the hoop and inside the tent. This automatic-triggering lamp lasts for 12 hours for better tracking.

• Marking and color the raft's tubes are yellow with a fluorescent orange tent cover (900 cm²). Retroreflective strips on the tent fabric, but also under the bottom (600 cm²) if the raft is overturned.

• Access to facilitate boarding, it is equipped with a boarding ramp, ladder and interior handle.

• Floating anchor with a surface area of 0.67 m² and a length of 30 m, the floating anchor effectively reduces the effect of drift, stabilizes the boat and reduces the frequency of rocking.

Transocean life rafts Plastimo have an 18-year manufacturer's warranty if serviced every 3 years. At the 3rd overhaul, the cylinder is replaced free of charge (for rafts manufactured since 2018).

Container storage

The offshore life raft Plastimo Transocean is stored in containers.

Containerized storage guarantees better protection and storage of your raft.

It will be easier to stow on your boat (flat or on edge with percussion tip up) in an easily accessible and convenient place.

The container can be secured with specific support sold separately.

In any case, life rafts should not be considered as footboards or seats. Don't mistreat them, they could save your life..
