The sprocket is an essential component in the operation of your windlass and plays a very important role in the anchor lifting and lowering process. It is an integral part of the deck unit and enables the anchor chain to be lifted from your boat. The chain wraps around the sprocket, preventing tangles and knots.

The sprocket is compatible with the VX2 700 or 900W and VX3 12V or 24V windlasses, which can accommodate 8mm-diameter chain or 12 to 16mm-diameter rope.

It can also be used on your VX2/3 deck unit to complete your deck unit.
