WHAT IS AIS?AIS is a communication system which, via a transmitter (your MOB1 beacon), transmits information to other vessels also equipped with a receiver. Boats in the vicinity will therefore see on their AIS a specific signal sent by your beacon when it is triggered. This can be done manually, or automatically by inflating the lifejacket.

Pourriez vous me dire si la batterie de la balise Balise personnelle AIS MOB1 peut être changée par son utilisateur sans retour en usine?

Selon les spécifications du fabricant, pour la balise MOB1, la batterie n'est pas conçue pour être remplacée par l'utilisateur.
La raison principale est de garantir l'étanchéité et la fiabilité du dispositif après une intervention. Pour remplacer la batterie, il est donc nécessaire de nous la renvoyer afin qu'on puisse la transmettre au centre de service agréé. Cela permet de s'assurer que tous les tests de sécurité et de fonctionnement sont réalisés correctement après le remplacement.
Changer la batterie soi-même pourrait compromettre l'étanchéité du dispositif et annulerait la garantie, tout en posant des risques pour la sécurité en cas d'utilisation de la balise.
