The SLR 196 lifejacket combines cutting-edge technology and ergonomic design for an unrivalled experience in safety and comfort. Safety is also a priority, with the integrated release handle and high-strength harness featuring a reliable textile buckle. For a customized fit, the vest features a quick-drain to adjust pressure and deflate as needed, as well as an intuitive belt with invisible webbing and 6 presets.

The design combines high-tech materials and carbon-effect fabric, while lightness and ergonomics are accentuated by the ultra-adaptive flexibility of the vest, which follows the shape of the shoulders. The aluminum quick-release buckle and neoprene collar complete the perfect combination of style, safety and comfort.

AUTOMATIC RELEASE SYSTEM

The automatic activation system, also known as the cellulose pellet system, activates the lifejacket on immersion in water, in most cases using a CO2 cartridge.

In this case, the pellet breaks down and releases the contents of the bottle to inflate the lifejacket.

Nevertheless, involuntary triggers may occur in the event of a big wave, for example.

As with the hydrostatic release, the system has an expiration date beyond which it must be replaced.
