The single electric gearmotor is designed to fit all V8 windlass deck units . It consists of an electric motor and a gearbox , and is positioned below deck in the anchor locker(see photo).

It allows you to raise or lower your anchor while offering comfort , safety and efficiency during mooring operations on your boat. This gearmotor operates on alternating current , unlike others which use direct current.

LEWMAR - SINGLE GEARED MOTOR FOR V8 AC DECK UNIT

The geared motor is designed for use inmarine conditions and is corrosion-resistant . It can be used with all V8 deck unit models (see accessories).

It also features a sturdy composite housing and a watertight grommet included in the package. The gearmotor is positioned in line with the deck unit and sprocket . This gives the windlass greater stability and strength .

The gearmotor operates on alternating current , i.e. the electric current changes direction at regular intervals, with variable frequency and amplitude .

The gearmotor is available in two different versions:
