Thanks to its sophisticated microprocessor, this device is able to significantly reduce the energy consumption of refrigerators and cooling units. It continuously regulates the speed of the compressor and, thanks to a specific sensor, evaluates the air temperature inside the fridge to increase cooling of the fridge contents when the boat's engine is running or when using shore power. During navigation, it exploits the frigories stored in the refrigerator contents to reduce compressor operation, saving around 50% in energy consumption. The device is compatible with all refrigerators and chillers as long as they are fitted with a SECOP 101N0212 control unit. The kit includes a microprocessor panel, an adjustable potentiometer and an air temperature sensor.
