The T 85 mechanical steering gear is a device that controls the boat's steering from the steering wheel. With this unit, port-to-starboard steering is achieved in just 3 turns of the wheel.
It also features an integrated bracket for 90° installation. The box can be used on outboard, sterndrive or inboard boats with engines up to 300 HP.

ULTRAFLEX - T85 mechanical steering box
It consists of astainless steel housing with adjustable friction that accommodates the steering cable and a 3/4" tapered shaft that attaches to the steering wheel. The steering box mounts on the steering wheel and transmits movement to the rudder or motor.
