Hub Cortex M1 features
Visit Hub Cortex M1 is the your boat's brain.
The Cortex M1 AIS transponder is versatile, first and foremost as a AIS transceiver class B SOTDMA. It uses the same SOTDMA technology as AIS Class A transponders and therefore has the same priority when it comes to reserving a slot, guaranteeing that it will always be able to transmit, even in high-traffic areas with 5 W transmit power. Sound integrated antenna splitter will enable you to use a single antenna for both VHF and AIS. What's more, a built-in amplifier improves reception and range. With this all-in-one Hub, you can configure and monitor the Cortex system and receive alerts on a Wifi-connected smartphone in the Cortex Onboard app, available free of charge oniOS orAndroid. You can receive notifications on your smartphone, tablet or connected watch anywhere on board. |

Collision, surveillance and MOB
The intelligence of Hub Cortex M1 And data display on your smartphone via wifi will offer you a range of actions, possibilities and settings for your transponder, but the 3 features unique to SmartAIS technology are :
SmartAIS combines GPS, AIS and heading data with intelligent logic to proactively warn you of collision risks. Clearly visualize the highest-risk vessels. When using a Cortex handset, smartphone or tablet, perform trial maneuvers to see a simulation of where and when your paths will cross.
Sleep peacefully or set off on an expedition knowing that your boat is exactly where you anchored it. By combining your position and course, Cortex determines whether your anchor is dragging. If your boat moves outside the anchor radius, the alarm is triggered on the Cortex handsets and your smartphone. Receive alerts when you're ashore via the Cortex Monitor app on your smartphoneiOS or Android. Want to know if water depth, wind speed or direction change while you're at anchor? No problem, the Cortex, connected to your equipment, monitors and alerts you.
When Cortex detects an AIS MOB (Man Overboard) activation, it immediately triggers the alarm. Compatible with all AIS MOBs, you'll see where the MOB was first activated, as well as continuous updates of its position, orientation and range. Get clear information and set the best course. Identify MOB AIS devices with crew names for better identification. Pressing the dedicated MOB button activates a tracking mode on all handsets and marks the MOB on MFDs connected to NMEA 2000. |
